Zen brings you back to your direct experience. Sitting. Breathing, Hearing.
Nothing else.
A thought passes and vanishes like a cloud in the sky.
No ideas about it, No judgments.
What is really here, now?
Only this moment,
Life becomes simple.

To be free and find peace we practice Zen.
Not aiming ot improve on the moment, not desiring to erase anything.
Just embracing everything as it is.
That is why we do ‘zazen’ – sitting meditation. Focus on your breathing, your body.
You are training your attention and become silent internally.
Relaxing, feeling lighter.
Even in walking and working letting go of your opinions and concerns.
When walking, just walk. That’s all.
When eating, simply eat.
Most simple.
Though still… not always easy; an endless practice.

The Great Way is not difficult
for those who are unattached to preferences.
When love and hate are both absent,
everything becomes clear and undisguised.
Make the smallest distinction, however,
and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart.

If you wish to see the Truth,
then hold no opinions for or against anything.
To set up what you like against what you dislike
is the disease of the mind.
When the deep meaning of things is not understood,
the mind’s essential peace is disturbed to no avail.
